I am a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Kent and my current research focuses on the uptake of renewable technologies, the impact of digitalisation on industrial sustainability, and changing attitudes towards working from home. I am also a Guest Lecturer at the University of Minnesota, USA. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex and my thesis focused on topics in labour economics. I received my MSc in Economics and BSc (Hons) in Financial Economics from the University of Essex. I was awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Kent, and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Furthermore, my projects in energy and environmental economics currently focus on examining the uptake of solar photovoltaic and thermal panels in the UK. In addition, I am also analysing the impacts of digital technologies on industrial energy use. My research on digitalisation boosting the decarbonisation of industries won the 2024 Rybczynski Prize, awarded by the Society of Professional Economists.
